Linville Johnson attorney Jack Lofton will participate in Think Big Little Rock, a newly created group of people aged 25 to 40 who will work to analyze problems and solutions within the Little Rock community. Sponsored by Fifty for the Future, a group of executives and community leaders focused on economic opportunities, Thing Big Little Rock will focus on the future development of the region.
As noted in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette:
The goal is to come up with strategies — and a way to enact them — to enhance life in the region and make it a more attractive place for young professionals to live and work.
According to Dean Kumpuris, at-large member of the Little Rock Board of Directors and member of Fifty for the Future, the group is “an opportunity for young people from different backgrounds and races to work together.”
The group consists of eight subcommittees, focusing on:
- Arts and culture
- Diversity
- Education
- Economic development
- Health care
- Public safety and governance, and
- Transportation and environment
Over the course of the next year, Think Big will locate community problems within these areas, propose possible solutions and work to create an action plan to carry out those solutions.
If the pilot group is successful, the group will receive funding for a new Think Big Little Rock class every three to five years.

In addition to his participation in Think Big, Jack served as the executive director of the Little Rock Film Festival from 2009 to 2012 and as a consultant with the Arkansas Film Commission, working to recruit film productions to the state of Arkansas.
